I'm a little confused about everything they said though. I don't know if I fully get it, but.. they gave us a choice to make, right? And I don't just want to do nothing when we're actally given a choice.

I'm surprised - though I suppose I shouldn't be. So many saying they resent the gods, they have more things to do, and when the opportunity comes to weaken their forces, they are almost universally against it? I can't say I'm surprised that none of them have the strength of convictions on the matter, but it dismays me that they don't seem to be giving it as much thought as they might. It's like you said. We shouldn't do nothing when we're given a choice.

I think that for most people it's just.. instinct or whatever. To save someone when they're in trouble. [ Even if they're a god, but that's exactly the more difficult part for her too. It does feel like the right thing to do at first, but on the other hand, it's one of the people who practically kidnapped them here.. maybe for good reasons, maybe not, but it's still kidnapping in the end. ] Even saying that helping them is a priority..

[ There's a groan, but it's not as much annoyed as it's just confused. ]

I guess I sort of get what they're going for, but.. at the same time it's so difficult, you know? It's like you're saying, they aren't even thinking about it, they're just giving their first answer!

That's what it sounds like to me. I fear there's nothing to be done about that. Even if I were to voice concerns about it, it would be a purely symbolic gesture.

It wouldn't be the first time we're borne by forces beyond our control. However, no matter what we may vote on, it doesn't necessarily mean that the execution wouldn't come with opportunities to take other courses of action. Indeed, the details of implementation may be far more important to think about than the general course chosen.

Well, if there was anything at all we could do, I'd be right on it, no matter what it is! I still don't particularly care about the gods too much, but I at least want to make sure all the poor people who were kidnapped here like us are fine, so-- .. as long as there's something for me to do, I'd do it!

[ and that's when she sighs. ] But as long as there isn't, then I can't do a thing to begin with.
